How can I see messenger’s archived messages on desktop?

Manage your messenger by archiving the messages from your inbox. This will vanish the messages from your app but remain saved in your app. If you are thinking that how to view archived messages on Facebook on a desktop then here are the steps to do it:

Go to your browser and log into your messenger
There you will see your current chats
Then, click on the “Archive” icon that is last located in the left sidebar.
